OUR POLICIES
Since impartiality is crucial to preserving trust in our services, Cert Assured is devoted to doing away with it. Our senior management has created and pushed an impartiality policy with related goals, which will serve as the foundation for Cert Assured’s certification service.
A relationship that jeopardizes Cert Assured’s impartiality can be based upon ownership, governance, personnel, shared resources, finances, contracts, marketing, and the payment of a sale commission or other inducements for the referral of new clients, etc. To eradicate such scenarios Cert Assured has gone above and beyond the necessary protocols.
All Directors, staff, and sub-contractors are required to complete and sign the Compliance with Conflict of Interest Policy. The top management of Cert Assured has established an independent Impartiality Committee as part of their commitment to impartiality in their management system certification efforts. In any case, representation of a balance of interests must be done in a way that prevents any one interest from dominating at any meeting of the group.
The Committee safeguards the impartiality of Cert Assured with duties and responsibilities that include:
- Assisting in developing policies relating to the impartiality of certification activities
- Counteracting any tendency to allow commercial or other considerations to prevent the
- consistent, objective provision of certification activities
- Advising on matters affecting confidence in certification, including openness and public perception
- Conducting a review, at least annually, of the impartiality of the audit, certification, and Cert Assured decision-making processes
- The Impartiality Committee has ultimate authority for matters relating to Cert Assured impartiality and to maintaining the integrity of the certification process.
INDEPENDENCE

Cert Assured is completely responsible and does not outsource its decisions related to granting, refusing, maintaining, renewing, extending, reducing, suspending, restoring, withdrawing certification, or expanding or reducing the scope of certifications.
Cert Assured’s activities are not marketed, offered, or linked with the activities of an organization that provides management system consultancy.
Cert Assured is committed to taking action for correcting inappropriate claims any consultancy organization is stating or implying that certification would be similar, easier, faster, or less expensive if taken from Cert assured. Additionally, Cert Assured does not recognize any consultancy organization or consultant that claims that certification would be simpler, easier, and faster or less expensive if a specified consultancy organization is used.
